Russia's GV Gold says wants to raise output by 6.6–10.3% in 2021

IRKUTSK, Feb 1 (PRIME) -- Russian gold producer GV Gold plan to raise output by 6.6–10.3% to 290,000–300,000 ounces in 2021, the company said in a statement on Monday.

"The next stage in GV Gold’s development is linked to the implementation of two promising projects – Svetlovsky and Krasny – the scale of which is comparable with that of our flagship assets – Ugakhan and Taryn,” CEO Vladislav Barshinov said as cited in the statement.

GV Gold's production grew by 4.8% to 272,000 ounces in 2020. Ore mining fell by 24% to 8.665 million tonnes. Refining increased 5% to 10.5 million tonnes.
